I try and stay away from that site and also the newpaper blogs, but sometimes its like a car wreck, ya just have to look.

You guys act like you won something. YAY you won less hunting opportunity!!!
This is exactly what the anti-hunter Democrats want to begin with. The wolves kill all the animals and then the hunting closes.
OF COURSE you have to limit hunting now, that is the only obvious "band-aid" recourse. Close ALL the hunting and see what you have. All you're doing is just slowing the process down so the denials can keep flowing and "delay the inevitable"
I say just go ahead and finish the elk herds off. Any sign of a population rebound from limited hunting will just give anti-hunting Democrats more ammo in the fight. Some liberal FWP Bio in a couple years will go into an area that has had limited hunting and say "it's not so bad now, maybe the wolves are fine, the elk numbers seem to be holding" And then that will give even more ammo to the anti-hunting Democrats.
I say let's finish the elk herds off so that we force an EMERGENCY. A declaration of "Wolf Martial Law" that will include poisoning, trapping, helicopter hunts, wolf abortion chemicals, den killing, a wholesale, old west style, wipe out of wolves.
But for now, we'll have to suffer from limited hunting or closed hunting and the wolves will continue the slaughter and you will still be grasping for some "pie in the big sky" solution from liberals like Testercle and Bawkass.
