That’s wonderful news @JohnCushman ! Praise GodMy niece was finally released by her doctor to go back to work Monday.
Well I'm very thankful to be able to update that my aunt went home from the hospital today. She's still not feeling great, but was apparently very dehydrated which is why she ended up being hospitalized. Lung scans look markedly improved. They did give her a second test (to see how active the virus still was I guess?) which she again tested positive to. Her fever has been down for almost a day now, so things are looking very good. Thanks for those who have prayed and wished well during this time.Just to update everyone. My grandpa's test came back and it was confirmed that he died of COVID-19. My aunt, who also has been confirmed to have CV, is currently en route to the hospital after her fever spiked this evening and she started to worsen. Thanks for those who have prayed and I would ask for continued prayer.

Although this is a worldwide epidemic and I hope and pray for everyone thourthout the world, myself and my family are only able to "make a difference" in a very small part of the world. But we will do what we can, where we can.
I am doing everything I can do to simply keep a positive spirit among the group I am isolated with. A couple fall in and out of a deep depression, but most are are o.k. and those who are not, we are working with to the best of our limited ability.
I do attempt to spread the word and read the Bible daily to whomever is interested in listening. And of course we have band practice (-; (-: (-:
Through my son, daughter an granddaughter we have been able to assist some in Arizona, financially and others by picking up food and medicine and leaving it on their porches. We are working in conjunction with churches and other organizations .
This situation takes me back to my childhood and remembering the tail end of the great depression and the beginning of World War II. IMHO we are in a war and I have suggested to my family that if they start feeling sad to do something, read the bible and discuss it within the family, play a board game, learn something new ( a language, musical instrument, put together a firearm, start a garden, make home brew and/or listen to:
Toby Keith Courtesy of the Red Whote and Blue We WILL kick this virus in the butt.
Lee Greenwood. God Bless America If I had to start again tomorrow with just my family and my wife. ( when you look at your 401 )
John Cash . Ragged old flag I believe she can take a whole lot more. ( every one of the times mentioned in this tune, where BAD TIMES, but we survived them and came out better on the other side)
Jennifer Hudson Believe !
and when I listen to these tunes I include all our heath care workers, law enforcement, truck and airplane drivers/pilots, as well as the military ( which includes the National Guard ) EVERYONE, who is fighting and helping during this crises. People you might not even think about like BRENT who is busy teaching on line classes to his students, so many here who have friends and relatives in "Essential" positions.
PLUS and this is a big plus, even mother's and father's who, by example, are teaching their children how to ride out tough times. Remember, you are their role model. I still remember how my grandfather, grandmother, father and mother handled the Great Depression/World War II and your children will never forget and always be thankful for teaching them how to make sacrifices while maintaining a positive spirit in your home, during a tough time.
If all else fails. Get in your car and drive to ---almost North Dakota, not quite Canada and drown your sorrows with some excellent home brew courtesy of one of our female forum members (-: Boy does that look good. I am tempted to slip out the back door, steal a sail boat, sail to the colonies and catch a freight train to the aforementioned location-----the freight train would have to not be moving when I got on and catching one that is going where I want to go might be a problem---but except for that (-:
Updated first post.
Thank you for doing this. You can add my wife, sister, and mother. They are all in health care. We’re all going through some tough times right now, and I know I’m praying for a few people here. If there’s something you’d like myself and/or other HuntTalk members to pray about, feel free to post it here. I’ll try to update the list every few days so that you don’t have to read every post or page, but can just check the first post. I know I’ll miss a few, so if you post something and it doesn’t make it to the list, pm me. Does not have to be virus related.
