Me and the wife didn't get each other gifts. Our gift to each other is a trip to the black hills south Dakota which we are on right now. We rented a cabin outside of hill city. My goal for the trip was to see a bighorn. On the way here we went through the badlands and halfway through the loop there they are by the road. Stopped and watched em for a bit. One ram was a tank.

Did you bring your ice fishing gear? I love fishing deerfield!

Well, I opened my Kuiu jacket I bought in the big sale last month, as well as my First Lite brimmed beanie. My wife also surprised me (we don’t usually get each other gifts, so I’m behind the 8-ball now) with a MeatEater hat and shirt and a meat injection kit.
My 2 yr old got spoiled and he’s not half done yet...

Got a nice pair of sitka gloves, some plates for the progressive press that's backordered & a winchester model 101 waterfowl (30" tubes, full & full choked) which was also a going away present from colleagues.

Second Christmas happening after we eat brunch at the father in law's. He scored a new set of Meopta binos & a game cart.

My only real outdoor related gift was one that I have wanted .....an OG Stormy Kromer in hunter orange It is too snug so I will have to exchange it but I am happy
