IIRC, Some of you are involved in hunters safety for kids. My grandsons, age 6 & 9 have been hounding me to take the BB guns when we go to the cabin over the 4th. I have been looking for info in order to get them started into gun safety that would coincide with what they learn when they are old enough to actually take the course. The last thing I would want to hear out of there mouth when they get to take a course is, "Well, Pop Pop said..."
Can anybody help me out a little?

Many thanks! 9 for hunters Ed? Crap! I thought it was 12!
The parents have relented so I want to do it right from the git-go....
Yep they changed the rule a few years ago. They changed it to allow kids to hunt birds at 10 but big game is still 12.

Already have buy-off to do it (class that is) with the promise that if I do it for one I will do it for the other. Most likely cannot happen until fall with boys summer schedules, but will happen. The younger one will be the one who will be Pop Pop's hunting buddy though.
Thanks again for the info.
