I was reading that before you can hunt in Colorado you need to have passed a hunter safety training course if born after 1949 - or show your out of state training course. I live in FL and our “born after” date is 1965. I was born in 1955, so I don’t need the course here in FL. I was reading something about an exemption if you had prior military service and an honorable discharge, but it’s not clear to me whether or not I need to take a course in CO. I’m a vet with honorable discharge. Can anyone help to clarify the regulation? Thanks.
