The city where my hunting land is banned them from being owned after a little girl's life was saved by the UPS guy after half her face was tore off. I was surrounded and backed to a garage while walking down a country road by 2 pits and a rott, called 911 during the whole thing as I was pretty scared. More places should do the same to keep them from being bred so dog shelters that seems where most owners get them would not have a fresh supply. Just too many other options for a dog choice to keep breeding the top of that chart
