It'll probably upset you. I don't bother with bear spray. I prefer a sidearm in grizz country. This one needs a little RJ The Hunter.
He shot a .44 magnum, just sayin.Do you have a relative named Harold?
and it's a miracle you haven't been gnawed on by a grizzled bar packing that pea shooter. The common popular caliber sidearm nowadays seems to be the 10mm semi. for grizzly and black bear. Personally, I carry a .45 colt revolver.
Excellent reply, thank you for that insight. While I do believe that the .44 magnum would be plenty of power for a bear, a .357 has a lot less recoil and has proven to be effective. All of the research I have done would suggest that the ammunition availability is far better for the .357 as well.He shot a .44 magnum, just sayin.
Yes, we drone-mounted aerial sprayed our campsite with Counter Assault and no bears appeared at all.Has anyone used a drone for grizzly patrolling? If so what do you recommend??
Pure genius. I am trying it.Yes, we drone-mounted aerial sprayed our campsite with Counter Assault and no bears appeared at all.
Still nervous about the spray shelf life, I did sleep with a sawed-off ten guage in a quick draw shoulder holster ... for added deterrent. 'Proved to work well, although not much sleep.Pure genius. I am trying it.
Dang. I had a wildly different experience. This is after I tried to spray the bear. I carry a sidearm instead now.Yes, we drone-mounted aerial sprayed our campsite with Counter Assault and no bears appeared at all.
'Told you not to carry snacks when you jog!Dang. I had a wildly different experience. This is after I tried to spray the bear. I carry a sidearm instead now.
