Yeti GOBOX Collection

How much $ would you pay?

Only bought a handful, 1 each for what I’d like to have.

My question was how much would you pay if you knew you'd get it?

Me, if I could pick one and only one I'd cough up:

Sheep and Goat $2K
Moose and Bison $1K
Elk $500
Antelope & Deer $250

I never do the super tags. Your senario, I would pick moose. I'd likely be willing to put 5-8k on a moose if I knew I was gonna draw out.

Did you buy a mule deer supertag though?

After WY/AZ results post - I’ll probably by a handful more if I don’t forget but not deer.
Ah well i guess your consistent lol. The odds were better.

For the tags though, now that i get the thread:

Mule deer 25 dollars
Mountain goat, Bison and Antelope 250 dollars
Moose and Elk 2500 dollars
Bighorn sheep 25000 dollars + applicable likely divorce/funeral fees. Lol

I feel like I’m just a couple years away from drawing a goat tag, so it’s not real high on my list.

I drew the very first Montana Elk Super tag back in 2006 and a Breaks Ram tag in 2019. Right now I’d pay $15K for the elk tag and $30K for the sheep tag, if not more.

If I understand the question correctly, how much would I spend on supper tags if I knew it guaranteed I'd draw the tag:

Sheep: 5K
Moose: 4K
Elk: 2K
MD: 2K
Bison: 1K
Goat: $500
Antelope: 0

I'd be contingent on my GME stock shooting to the moon though. Otherwise, I'd have to be content piss pounding general units hoping to get lucky. There's something more fulfilling for me in grinding it out in chitty units trying to beat the odds-with OTC deer and elk tags. That being said, a nice sheep hunt in the breaks or a moose hunt up Taylors Fork would be an awesome experience and I'd dish out some coin if I was guaranteed the tags.

I think I paid around $300 and for the 4th year or so in a row will have 2 special permit elk tags, 2 deer tags, probably 2 antelope tags, 2 turkey tags, a bear tag, decent upland bird hunting, great waterfowl if the weather is right, great river fly fishing, good warm water lake fishing, a chance to draw MSGB while building points, and the most liberal season structure to do it all in. Not sure I would hypothetically pay anything for MSGB right now until my kids are older and I have more time.

What I'd be willing to pay is very different than what I can afford to pay. So... this is what I'd be willing, although I might have to get creative with pawn shops/crowdfunding/shady business deals to make it happen:

Elk: 15k
Moose: 10k
Bison: 5k
Sheep: 5k
Goat: 5k
Mule Deer: 1k
Antelope: $500
