Plans for the weekend?

Monday the 5th is holiday so taking Friday without pay (save the vaca for hunting). Headed to our place in Oregon to do a little more work and ride some old logging/mining roads on my old Honda mini-bikes. Grandson number one is now brave enough to try the 50cc in the meadow. He has to pass Pop Pop's riding test before I let him out in the dirt/gravel/rocks so I will most likely not give him a *license* until next summer. Damn things are getting to be worth too much money to have dumped in the gravel over and over.

At any rate, y'all be safe out there, keep the rubber side down and fly your flag (I don't agree with the gubmint, but I still fly mine).

Larry

Im going to stay home all weekend and eat doritos and drink dr pepper. Maybe watch a little Party of 5 or bev. hills 90210....

Yeah, motorcycles too!

I'll be working...until I puke.

Remembering learning to ride Honda 50's and 70's growing up..... You and the bike were laying in the dirt alot! The price on them is going through the roof. Just check Flea Bay.
Seeing as how you don't get dick for interest on savings these days, I have decided to keep the three I have in as good of original and running condition I can. But, alas, I have two young grandsons I would rather seeing spending time outdoors than in front of a TV or video games.

I will be out looking for mule deer and elk in the badlands. Hoping to find the buck that has eluded us for two years, plus find Muley1 a mid 380" bull

Since my Colorado kitchen pass has expired, I'll be planting landscaping and flagstoning the patio. Never too early for earning future pass points.

Working over the weekend and hoping to spend Monday pitching dry flys to hungry trout.

Ouch! That's going to hurt. I did that all last weekend as my honey went to an estate sale where they were even selling flowers out of the yard if you dug them up. She came home and grabbed the truck and I knew I was in trouble. Move a plant, dig a hole, move a plant, dig a hole, plant, move, plant move, etc, etc. All stinking weekend, but points? I MADE some serious points. Just bite your tongue and knock it out and get it over with.

Family, grilling, camping and lots o' walleye fishing!! I doesn't get much better!

I hope everyone has a safe weekend.

Hardscrabble,

Good luck on the scouting and take some pics to post up. I won't get out to scout until August this year and it's killing me. It should be a good year for growing horns in the Badlands. Lot's of moisture and green grass!

Cleaning and packing... cleaning and packing... cleaning and packing... change a poopy diaper.
I'll be there in a 6 weeks, so if you have any pointers... ;)

Hopefully, I'll be bringing Son #2 and TMOB home from the hospital today, so we'll be hanging out at the house with the inlaws doing a whole lot of nothing. Gotta get the 1000s of phone calls I need to make for the move done before Friday at noon as I'm sure getting a hold of anyone after that will be tough. That and mowing the yard and picking up dog poop.

A big weekend-long camp out and shindig at the Hunting and Fishing Club. Saturday is the "All Sportmen's Challenge" games (archery, .22 rimfire, basketball, casting plug contest, etc.) and Sunday is the big deep pit beef barbecue, pig on a spit and fireworks extravaganza. Monday is recuperate day.

Tomorrow I have to drive over 50 miles one-way to represent the company in Small Claims Court. :( THen I get to drive home in th e"Friday Get-away Day for a Long Weekend" traffic.

Snowboarding in the Spanish Peaks Saturday morning, cookout in the afternoon, Ennis rodeo that evening and some high country fishing Sunday. Then it's off to the Yellowstone River for four months.
