How do you get from the Forums to the Gallery?

The only way I can do it is to type in Hunttalk.com, and go to that Intro page. But that Intro Page is now HUGE, and if you use a dial-up, it never loads, due to all the images.

When I was in Africa, I got tired of trying to get there via Lochi's 9600 connection. And even my slow 56k is for ever on that page.

Can you find a quick link from the Forums to the Galleries, like in the old days???

Problem Eliminated... There is a Link on the Main page as you come in at the Top...

Over the next few days Delw and Me are Cleaning up forums and Making it a Bit easier to navigate. I combined the Handgun/Rifle section since there has only been 5 posts in the last 120 days in the Handgun section. I took the Fishing section, nuked the 8-10 seperate sectinos and Created just one and Put it in the Fun/info area here. MAybe more will post if it's Combined ? We removed Guide links, Figureing if some want to Advertise or talk about a Guide they could add it in the Hunting section that pertains to it Elk hunting in the Elk section and So on.

Test section was Removed, Not many using it and Most people try to post a Picture and If they post it in the Right section an Admin will help out Real quick or someone else. So no need for that section.

Several Others were Relocated and we're doing some other clean up.

Hopefully that helps.

One big thing that I couldn't find but I'm sure Delw CAN is change it so the Links when Posted are a different color. Right now it's hard to tell if someone puts up a Link or jsut text. I'm sure it's just a Setting but I can't find it

Other then That, If you have Money to go to Alaska 2 times this year, take your Daughter to Africa hunt several weeks in Idaho and spend time floating the Rivers, Spend the Extra 40$ a month and get a REAL conection ya PUSS !!!

ON my monitor, some of the links are now showing up as grey. Although they still work, they look like they are "greyed" out...

yeah they are suppose to .
links should show as something other than black, this way you can see the difference between web links and plain old text.

I am trying different color combos as I get time to see what works best

Now how about adding some kind of index on the first page of the galleries so that you can find the one your looking for without going through all the pages. I think something like that has been in the works for about a year now.

Well Oak,,, It has Never Been in the Works, We jsut said We're gonig to look into it and Haven't yet, but we will look into it sometime

I suggest that the Title of each Album be the Posters Name. Then we can Put it in Alphabetical Order and it would be easy(er) to find. But that would take people getting organized and we all know that won't happen

Oak thats a good idea. Might be able to come up with something like that.

There is a hack for profiles to where you can add differnt things, maybe a gallery page in the profile might work as well.
