Has long range hunting gone too far?

We've gone over this every direction. Many times. mtmuley

Let me guess, the general consensus is something along the lines of “if you do something that I don’t do it’s automatically unethical!” Followed by standard outrage, with general cause for blame being either Republicans or Democrats.

Long range hunting was a niche turned into an industry by some forward thinking people that saw the amount of money that could be made from it. Celebrity hunters and TV sponsors embraced it or were going to be left behind and their wallets would suffer. It has escalated to the point where it has started to discuss a lot of people. We ,hunters, are our own worst enemy in terms of enlightenment. I would have preferred to leave it a niche but think of the millions of dollars that would not have been raised for conservation because of the purchases for hunting gear. Don’t shoot yourself in the foot fellows.
