Is a gunwerks worth the $13,000 or can you do just as good with something else.

Tikka, few little add ons, custom stock, threaded barrel, Nightforce or SWFA scope and a can/brake can be had for like 1/5 of the cost of that and probably shoot the same.Is a gunwerks worth the $13,000 or can you do just as good with something else.
Does that include load development? You get a barrel that's half worn out? Or do they offer standard ammo and expect that every rifle they make will shoot it the same.If you’re looking for that “bespoke” buying experience, then sure. They do build a nice rifle, and for $13k it’s a turn key package. No work on your end necessary.
For me, I’m with @NDGuy. I’ll take a tikka and some add-ons anyday. When all is said and done, I will be the limiting factor on functional shooting anyways. That $13k isn’t going to make my wind calls any better.
...can't even buy a Shrapnel, BrentD, or Ben lamb starter kit for 13k.I don't have the coin. I'm good with the rifles I have and what they do. But if you can do it, do it. mtmuley
I think their assumption is that their rifles will shoot their ammo relatively the same. I do know they verify their rifles at 1000 yds before shipping.Does that include load development? Shrapnel is on a whole nother level. mtmuley...can't even buy a Shrapnel, BrentD, or Ben lamb starter kit for 13k.
It’s pretty crazy what your average run of the mill smith is spinning together in his garage these days. Definitely not worth the 13k
