Ithaca 37, I go hunt with Glen once and a while but for me it is about a 3 hour drive or more. He asks all the time but it is just too far.
I don't think your pointing dogs would any problem with my Springer. He works close and the pointer works farther out. When the pointer goes on point I "HUP" the dog with a whistle and we walk in and flush the birds. He stays sitting untill I release him. The only drawback is now he points once and a while
Once and a while the pointer misses birds and Buzz gets the flushes. This has been working well for me and a friend of mine. I am starting to look for a pointer. I am thinking about a britt do you know of any in the area that will have pups in January or Febuary? Ron
