Being new to all this, this thread is pretty overwhelming. I can see for me at least how beneficial gohunt could be for putting in an application and planning a hunt, either drawn or OTC. Having never used any of the previously mentioned platforms, I could essentially pick any and be better off than I am right now. And I actually consider searching up threads like this as doing my own research because with every thread I read and every YouTube video I watch I’m learning and educating myself and forming new views and opinions everyday, multiple times a day. Going to continue to research as much as I can and will be pulling the trigger on something hopefully soon. Need time to learn and test whatever I choose. Well time to keep drinking from the fire hose.

Do the Onx Free trial and practice downloading maps, and using off line for an area you already know.

@Big Fin super classy way to make a tough decision and share the appreciation for OnX on the process.

Just seeing this thread now as I was curious of the change of hunting influencers to GoHunt. So tough but a good problem to have when you have 2 great options to choose from. As a business owner, I fully respect that you have mission and financial considerations to take into account. If we're not paying your bills and accountable to all the staff you carry, I'm certainly in no position to judge.

Again, classy way to make a very tough change.

onX is playing in the Private Equity ballpark now. That doesn't make the company "bad" but they have "big money backers."

GoHunt is a joke. A travel agency for eastern states squirrel hunters to use when they want to try their hand at hunting big game in the west. All this crap revolves around $$$ and trying to remain relevant in an increasingly crowded "industry"........shitsakes I hate that word in the context of hunting...

google earth's picture quality is better than all of them. only problem is the units are not labeled so you have to guess where the boundary lines are but you can transfer all waypoints of Google Earth to OnX
