I checked traps on three different properties today and have gobblers on each other.
Been shooting my bow a bunch too...... I think I'm at 40 days unless I break off to Kentucky before.

I ordered from a guy that doesn't advertise and a member on another forum. I'm not sure if he builds them for more than a handful of folks he's already built for.

If my little sh!+head dosen't get his act together I'll be shooting turkeys alone this spring. Got home to freaking WW3! Guess he kicked a girl at school because she tried to kick him. Not a huge deal but the attitude the kid cops when getting disciplined is unreal. If I'd have acted that way to my dad more accurately to my mom in front of my dad I'd be picking myself up of the floor. Ironic part is only reason he's not is because of his mommy. Oh and I saw 4 Jake's at a patients house around noon.

No first. Although this is new he was well behaved till recently. Will be 10 next month and I believe it's the beginning of puberty Hell for me and the wife.

My daughter turns 11 in May. Life is starting to get interesting. That kid is a handful and already getting angry the last week of every month. Won't be long until hell week starts

Was out shed hunting public land in MN on Monday. I walked through a grassy patch and up through some trees to a narrow field. 2 big gobblers were within 20 yards feeding. They had no idea I was there. Surprised I was able to get that close making a decent amount of noise and go unnoticed. There was a bit of wind that must've masked my noise.

Just before that on the opposite side of the ravine we were working along, the turkeys were going crazy. Making all kinds of noises and loads of gobbling. I'm surprised these 2 didn't make any noise or head their way.

This picture reminded me of a call we got at work about 15 years ago about turkeys in a residential area. There was a tom who was very territirial and would actually come after the homeowner if they went out one of their house doors. The C.O. And I got fishing nets and chased this bird around to no avail. Finally we thought we had it because we cornered between us and a pond on the property. The dam thing swam across the pond. So we were able to net it as it came out of the water.
