Funny Hunter Quotes/Lingo

“OTC bull” that’s clearly on private
“Podcast”
“Shooting system”
“Build (insert whatever)” you took prefabricated items and tightened some screws together, don’t break an arm jerking yourself off
“Hit the like button”
“I think the arrow was non fatal” yeah but what about infection and the hard winter?

Bruh, if you don’t run multiple systems or kits are you really representing Beast Mode?

I'm in the process of a bow build, don't know what I'll be running for components yet but I know it will be a game changer. This whole site is fire man. Hope to shoot a toad with it. Got to get boots on the ground though to find that giant! When I do...dirt nap for sure. I'm not a brown and it's down kinda guy ya know...I'm kind of a "needs another year" to get him to be a swamp donkey. Last years bow took a management buck...he wasn't the biggest one I've shot but he was on the hit list. Wasn't much ground shrinkage but I wasn't about to eat tag soup ya know? Then again, you can't eat the horns! Up in my tree, I had an itchy trigger finger and thought I hit him a little far back...ended up being center mass, right in the pump station. Told my buddy to "give me a minute" before I climbed down. When I finally found my arrow I said to myself "that's good blood" and just like that I was "on the board baby!" He never even smelled me...completely scent free when I harvested that joker. Just happy to have punched my tag.

He’s a crusty old troll.

Glad I’m drinking beer, because the desire to keep it down overcame the urge to vomit after reading that. Without beer, it might have gone a different way.

If you say/use/hear anyone else use these, I have made a handy list to help diagnose the problem so people can get the help they need:

TOTAL GAME CHANGER! = Low self esteem
SMOKED A GIANT! = Even lower self esteem
OH, I GOT HIM LEAKING! = Awkward in public settings and can't help telling jokes with dumb punchlines
GOTTA GET MY E-SCOUTING DONE = Chronic procrastinator who thinks Jeff Foxworthy is funny
I'M RUNNING A NEW SYSTEM = Adult bed-wetter who listens to "who let the dogs out" on repeat on CD in their car
THAT BULL IS A CRANKER = Uncontrollable flatulence in elevators
OH THANK YOU LORD, THANK YOU! (Points to sky, fist pumps) = Kleptomaniac who enjoys pickle ball and yelling at children
YEAH, HE TOOK A DIRT NAP! = Likely spent too much time at the petting zoo as a kid
Ok I need some advice. I was morally down last week from an elk hunt, which prompted me to run to town to start from scratch on my research. While doing that, I called my wife to check in. I explained to her that the new lunches I got, “are a game changer”. Lunchables. I got lunchables for lunches.

I get that the phrase is a bro thing, BUT is it still a bro thing given the context that it was a lunchable? I think the issue against me is that, at that moment, I did in fact have low self esteem.

Any advice?

Strong work bro 💪👊

“Bro, you killed a giant” to every 4 point deer, 5+ point bull killed on YouTube. Good god….

I've been working up a load on my new rifle and it will definitely shoot sub moa if I do my part. Last year, I was out at 0 dark thirty, ready to put the smack down on my target buck, an old warrior which would definitely be my personal best. It's go time when all of a sudden a booner shows up out of nowhere. At first I thought he may need another year. Nope...his rack was filthy...trash everywhere...an absolute stud. I'm sighted in at 600 yards so anything inside of that will be a wall hanger. As soon as I squeezed the trigger, I thought I drilled him (money shot) but I must of hit him a little far back. There was good blood at first, and I didn't think he'd go 20 before taking a dirt nap but I'm a bit embarrassed to say "I didn't get it done this year" but I know it was a fatal hit. Hey, Coyotes gotta eat too. It's too bad cause he'd be a real giant next year. It looks like I'm all done dancing for this year, but that' why they call it huntin and not shootin. There's always stick and string late season. No worries...I gotta put some meat in the freezer so it looks like it will have to be a Rage in the cage, then a ride in my truck, from here on out on a mature old slickhead. Just thankful I had the opportunity.

Yep, it’s official- I hate it.

I understand. I, too, have made questionable food and beverage choices when caught in the downward spiral brought on by misses, blown stalks and long days without seeing much game. I recently ate a giant sub sandwich from a gas station with a Peanut Nut Roll side dish, all washed down with a beer. That was my lunch. But, I wiped away the tears of shame, laced up my boots (aka, "Foot System") and got back out there, albeit gassy and mildly buzzed.
You seeing where you went off course is your first step towards healing. Your journey is just starting.
