Just had a big grizz walk past me at 250-300yds , what a rush ! I was giggling and laughing quietly while is was picking up my pack and rifle , I then tried to get a pic but he kept moving
I backed out away from him to a bigger flat till I could see him cross or see what he’s doing , then I saw three whitetails come running up out of the brush on the far side of the giant meadow 700 yds out , that I retreated to, and just waited to see what’s what , then I had two hunters come down the 2 track to where I was at, and I said there’s a bear in there and they go ya just walked right past us at 150 yards and then took off running across the meadow and I go that’s why I never seen it again so that’s what must’ve been what jumped them whitetail ! so since the Bears headed due north at a high a speed the other way , I snuck back into my meadow , can’t kill me some critters if i ain’t in the woods
My view of where the bear crossed in the opening behind the evergreens out there , Yee Yee I’m still on an adrenaline kick it’s been an hour
