Football General Talk

A friend who in a Bengals fan is trying to sell her season tickets this morning.

I find over reactions to be rather hilarious. If the won-loss record of your favorite teams is a quality of life issue, perhaps you have misplaced priorities. Nonetheless, I know many people like that. And in recent years, it seems that unless your team wins the Superbowl, you and your life is a failure. Heck, I'm just happy to see "my" team playing an interesting, good game, but it won't kill me if they play like Cinci did last night.
I was discussing it with my son the other day. Back in the 80s you of course wanted to win it all, but a 10-6 season was still fun. Now, it is either you have to win the Super Bowl (not just go, you have to win), or you have to be 2-15 and get the first pick in the draft. Every other outcome is somehow garbage. Our society has managed to take all the joy out of things that are short of “perfect”.

Huge injuries on both teams hope they're not to bad.

That parsons one though looked no bueno at all. Huge Bummer for him and the team.

Malik Neighbors is a absolute stud.

I hope parsons in okay, that being said he is a douche! I'm a Penn Stater to.

After watching the game last night, it was certainly ho hum for the Cowyboys. They've got a real rough road ahead to even think about finishing at or above. 500. 9/7 would be incredible at this point.
