The river has crested and is making its way down. Now the cleanup.
Same area yesterday vs today.
Water was lapping at the edge of both sides of the RR tracks.
Still up to the bottom of the stop sign at our park entrance. The river is normally on the other side of that cabin.
The good news is the river has receded enough that the highway is open and cars and semis aren’t zooming past my house on a narrow, winding gravel road. The maintainer was out already this morning blading all of the washboards out.
