I played hooky the other day from work and went fishing to a place I'd not been to in a while. When I got to the trail head I found barb wire and a lot of fluorescent paint and "No Trespassing" signs. At first I was bummed, but quickly remembered I'd saved the OnX map to my phone. Turns out the land owners property was just a small sliver posted creatively (though not technically illegally to the best of my knowledge) to look like he owned a lot more than he did.
So, I proceeded confidently around his parcel on BLM ground and was able to access some of the best fishing I've had in years--dozen's of fish most of which were 18"+. I even managed to accidentally take what I think is a pretty decent picture of one. Thanks OnX, the day wouldn't have been possible without your app.
