First time Nonresident Wyoming elk in unit 90 or 94

So I am looking at doing a cow hunt in Wyoming unit 90 or 94. This will be my first hunt out west. I am looking for some tips or advice. Also any advice or opinions on the units I am thinking. Any advice or help will be much appreciated. Thank you

Well due to the Covid I opted to hold off this year. Bought a point and will hopefully be out there next year. Currently I am living through all of the great post on here.

The elk numbers for unit 90 and 94 are way down due to low calf numbers This spring. Hence the reason for a reduced number of tags.

A few buddies are hunting there and they are not seeing much on both units.

I guess it all worked out for a reason then. Hopefully the luck for your buddies will turn around and they will have a nice elk to pack out.
