Sheesh, not so sure about that. The doctor at the ER was adamant that the fever was nothing to worry about.

Yah me either. But by that point his fever had dropped to around 102 or 103 and i wasnt in the mood, so i just brushed it off.Sheesh, not so sure about that.
Iirc. We didn't lose taste or smell until all other symptoms were gone last time. And yah 105 had me pretty scared.105 is scary. Glad everyone seems to be on the mend.
I don’t think I have ever got my full sense of smell back yet
That’s why in the medical industry they call it a “practice”. Hope you all have a quick recovery. Our family got it again, youngest is 1 and it was spooky high fever too, recovers now. Been a bad sick seasonWe're on the downhill slide now I think. The doctor at the ER was adamant that the fever was nothing to worry about. I lose a little more faith in experts every time I see one.
Wife lost taste/smell for ~1 week the most recent time we had it, but not the prior times. My taste and smell were unaffected every time.Did all of you that got Covid lose taste and/or smell? mtmuley

It was weird the first time I had it in 2020 I lost taste and smell. Second time in 2022 I lost smell but not taste. 3rd time in early 2024 I didn’t lose either.Did all of you that got Covid lose taste and/or smell? mtmuley
At the time I was positive I didn’t feel like I had lost taste or smell but as the symptoms subsided I felt like the intensity of flavors and smells increased. Now there are times when I cannot smell things or can faintly smell it but my wife is nearly losing it from how awful the smell is.Did all of you that got Covid lose taste and/or smell? mtmuley

Took me about 6 months the first time.Youngest daughter got it about 4 years ago and is just now getting SOME sense of smell back.
Wish I’d have had Covid when I tried to eat the bobcat I trapped this winter. At the time I was positive I didn’t feel like I had lost taste or smell but as the symptoms subsided I felt like the intensity of flavors and smells increased. I think we’ve all had something too. As soon as one gets rid of it, the next one picks it up. it’s been a vicious circle.Wish I’d have had Covid when I tried to eat the bobcat I trapped this winter.
The only time I ever tested posted for it I had a mild fever one night and then severe stomach issues. No respiratory symptoms at all. Strange disease.
My family has more or less had a running illness of some sort since October. Can’t wait until we can get outside and spread out.
I got it for the first time last summer.Did all of you that got Covid lose taste and/or smell? mtmuley
