First hand Covid symptoms

We're on the downhill slide now I think. The doctor at the ER was adamant that the fever was nothing to worry about. I lose a little more faith in experts every time I see one.
That’s why in the medical industry they call it a “practice”. Hope you all have a quick recovery. Our family got it again, youngest is 1 and it was spooky high fever too, recovers now. Been a bad sick season

Make sure it was a Dr.
That fever is pretty high but easier to get under control. It’s a bad flu year. Or at least that’s what the dead people tell me.

Did all of you that got Covid lose taste and/or smell? mtmuley
No-one in my or extended family did.

Most had cold and/or flu symptoms

I've had it 3 times and personally symptoms very mild except for the 2nd time last year I had an absolute mindnumbing migraine. I couldn't open my eyes it was so bad.

At the time I was positive I didn’t feel like I had lost taste or smell but as the symptoms subsided I felt like the intensity of flavors and smells increased. Now there are times when I cannot smell things or can faintly smell it but my wife is nearly losing it from how awful the smell is.

Wish I’d have had Covid when I tried to eat the bobcat I trapped this winter.

The only time I ever tested posted for it I had a mild fever one night and then severe stomach issues. No respiratory symptoms at all. Strange disease.

My family has more or less had a running illness of some sort since October. Can’t wait until we can get outside and spread out.

I think we’ve all had something too. As soon as one gets rid of it, the next one picks it up. it’s been a vicious circle.

I caught covid and it felt pretty bad. I lost the sense of taste for sure, maybe smell? I thought that I recovered and I went on an Idaho elk hunt about 6 weeks later.

I noticed that my lungs felt like they were on fire walking up the trail. The pack was kind of heavy but nothing I haven't carried before and I thought that the elevation was moderate but nothing spectacular. It kept happening throughout the hunt so afterwards I went to the doctor. They x-rayed my chest and told me that I had two partially collapsed lungs. Asked him how that happened and he said "I don't know, we are still trying to figure out long covid". Asked them what I should do and they said wait and see what happens.

Seems better now, but I wasn't prepared for that nonsense.
