First 32-40 reloads...

Been acquiring components for a 32-40 that's been in our family for a long time. Found 200 rounds of brass for it, picked up some 165 grain Hornady flex tips and a pound of H4895.

Loaded 5 and tried them at the range yesterday. Used a cci 250 mag primer and 22 grains of H4895.

Gave them a try at 25 yards...first 4, shot the 5th at a 12 inch steel target at 100 and hit.

Shot a doe whitetail last year with it using some old factory ammo.

That is cool !!
Love the older lever action rifles.
Hope you take something with it this year as well.
