Been acquiring components for a 32-40 that's been in our family for a long time. Found 200 rounds of brass for it, picked up some 165 grain Hornady flex tips and a pound of H4895.
Loaded 5 and tried them at the range yesterday. Used a cci 250 mag primer and 22 grains of H4895.
Gave them a try at 25 yards...first 4, shot the 5th at a 12 inch steel target at 100 and hit.
Shot a doe whitetail last year with it using some old factory ammo.
