This was warm up time after a cold and snowy day of hunting. The woodstove had the shop nice and toasty as we attempted an emergency repair on the Chevy.

We did an overnight trip last week. Some locales are probably done for the year due to snow.


Chukar Valhalla. LOTS of birds. Unfortunately lots of misses. Dog work was amazing.

It snowed more in the night.




A very uneventful day. The partly sunny forecast was replaced by snowing sideways. We bumped a herd of elk up high, and they went the way we were going to hunt. Instead of pushing them, we took some scenery photos and called it a short day.
