Finally some good news

You are a much better shot than I am with open sights if that’s really the case (could certainly be true).

I practice a fair bit and there is no way I am good out to 200 with an iron sight muzzy, at least not good enough to reliably make a clean kill.
Same, I feel I am a pretty decent shot. I can't pull it off at 200 consistently enough. Coincidentally I don't shoot at animals with my compound over 30 either, 40 being max in absolute perfect conditions.

Personally I have shot a bull at 200 yards with open sights and an inline. I practiced a pile that year with the gun. The first shot was at 120 second was at like 203 no way in hell I’d send lead at 200 for a first shot

I killed alot of elk in my muzzelloader days from 150 to 200 did practice alot when that's all hunted with though wouldnt hesitate to shoot at 200 with a modern inline( compound or crossbow) flintlock(recurve) things change a bit

Nope there is a cow hunt that opens January 1

@cgasner1 might be a good idea to leave what you do on your own time off the forum
