In the BHA Podcast with Ty, Hal alludes to discussing forestry issues and ESH/Young Forest for Ruffed Grouse here in the Southern Apps. I really hope he does. Lots of good folks for him to talk to out here.

I re-read the article and thought I would just make an observation. The Wetland Reserve Program was not "killed off". It was rolled into the formation of the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program. The Wetland Reserve Program, Grasslands Reserve Program, and Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program were all repealed and combined with the 2014 Farm Bill. From the administration side of things, we have noticed it made life quite a bit easier and actually increased folks eligibility for enrolling their properties for conservation. In fact, its opened up quite a few areas that, in the past, would have been difficult to get in the program.
