Takeaways: They have 20/40 vision; they see coarse better than fine; they are dichromatic vs humans being trichromatic.

However, ungulates can see the blue end of the spectrum 1,000x times brighter than a human can, which is why they pick up Ultraviolet light (UV) so easily and why some hunters take great care not to wash their camouflage apparel in detergents that contain UV brighteners.
