I belonged to the Sierra Club for many years....actually one of the very first orgs I joined when I had a few extta bucks. And they did a good job of identifying critical habitats, raising awareness and spending funds to protect. They were essentially neutral maybe even leaning pro -hunting at the time. I now consider their leadership anti-hunting----Preservationist not Conservationist!
