Almost, there was about a 2 foot ish rock behind him where he dropped which helped him from rolling off. Kind of acted like wheel chocksDid you have to tie him off while you processed him?

Great dad move pulling him out of school. Nice job!My 16 year old boy is showing me up. He had already passed on some spikes. Pulled him out of school because I new this bull was hitting a wallow. I can't pass an elk up so I was already tagged out on a raggy. I am so damned proud of this boy. He and the bull are beasts.
You could generalize that statement even further by saying accubonds don't bounce off of anything.View attachment 344701
My WY bull. Just to clear up any confusion, 6.5 PRC bullets do NOT bounce off elk.
Despite my handle this bull was actually taken with a 156 Berger, but all of my other bulls have been taken with the Accubond and my brother's bull from this same trip was taken through both shoulders with a 200 grain Accubond out of his 300 Ultra, needless to say that one didn't go far.You could generalize that statement even further by saying accubonds don't bounce off of anything.
Where were you hunting ?View attachment 344704
Shot a young bull on Monday morning, got back last night. He was the 11th bull we'd seen in 3 days, and considering the shot, the view, and the company, I decided I couldn't pass on him. What a fun trip, I'll do a writeup for you guys...

Great bull LE?Filled my WY tag a couple days ago - lots of broken bulls running around, so was definitely happy to find one all intact!
7 SAUM with 145 LRX did the trick.
