Elk .... Let's see them!!!

Solo late rifle Arizona hunt Dec 2018. Shot him across canyon. Quartered him up and packed it in snow and covered in tree limbs. On way to get him, I hit some black ice and was lucky the trees saved me a tumble down the canyon. Had to hike to get cell phone reception to get help. Came back the next morning and all the meat was gone. Bear, cat, and coyote tracks.

Had something very similar happen to me in which i am guessing is the same unit in AZ. This was on a deer hunt after packing 2 bucks out. Rolled about 8 times
