I did not kill this bull. A taxidermist friend was moving to New Zealand and wanted my recurve bow so I traded it for a lot of stuff he had that customers had left with him and never paid for, etc.

According to him this bull was killed in the 60s. The son of the hunter had a "misunderstanding" with a women and in the ruckus it got knocked off the wall and broke at the pedicle and mid way. It has a cow's cape on it. Some day I'll get it re-done with a full sweep and the freak antler on the outside. As I understand it, the club is the main beam and the long tine is the brow tine. Might bring up the score of the fankinbull but I didn't kill it. One final note, the antler actually grows out of the side of the head so it wasn't just a bump that caused it.

First Bull with a bow

Shot this late archery Az bull with my best friend ( my wife). My first with a bow.Could not have been more blessed. Bull has so much character. G2 is wrapped around his ear. Missing G3 on right side. We estimated he was missing about 40 inches of bone between the missing G3 and busted up on left side also. He made non typical at 345 6/8. And my taxidermist estimated him to be around 14 years old due to wear on molars. Couldn't imagine what he was in his hay day. Definitely the hardest hunt i have ever been on. But just like any other Late Az bull hunt, harder the hunt greater the reward

Randy time to come back to Az and shoot some Great bulls.
