Elk call for high palate

I have a very high palate. A regular diaphragm call will not work for me.

Any suggestions?

Look at the size of the reed, not the diaphragm call, Phelps and rocky mountain make smaller ones. Trim to fit. I had same problem

As Werty said, trim to fit. I have a high narrow palate take a LOT off the sides to make them fit right.

I have the same problem, Look at youth sized diaphragms.

Once you have trimmed one to your desires, never throw that one away! That is the template for future trimming/s for all future calls. Go slowly with the amount you take away. A tiny bit can make all the difference. And make certain that the scissors are super sharp so that you can make precise cuts.

(You might ask your dentist to make a model of your upper arch/teeth, so that the trimming is done without saliva. And if you're gonna go that far, you could trim it is truly custom to you, extending into the inter dental spaces (horizontal scalloping).
