Eastern MT residents?

How bad are the road conditions due to the rain? Planning to hunt 'lopers but may have to postpone until conditions improve. MTG

We were planning a hunt SE of Malta...landowner says he got 7". We're not going to go until 2nd week now...

We didn't get near the amount of rain near the breaks. The gravel I drive every day is almost dry. haven't been on any 2 track but if we have a few days of sun I would think most of it would be passable.

We are heading to region 7 around Baker next week, and I was wondering the same thing.

It seems like there was less moisture the further south and east you go, if that helps...

I was near Terry today. A little mud here and there but overall nothing that any truck can't handle. Never needed 4wd.

The gravel roads were in good shape where I went but there was still a ton of standing water on the prairie; even at the higher elevations. Anything not gravel looked pretty bad. A little sloppy this morning with the rain/snow mix we got last night. Lots of folks out and about from what I saw.
