Anyone have any insight on the use of an Electronic Duck Stamp (or E-duck stamp) specifically in Montana?

A friend wants to go with us in the morning but all of the stores and the Post Office in Dillon are out and we'd like to not have to drive to another town to track one down. According to the FWS you can save it on your device or print it off for use while hunting until your permanent one arrives in the mail however I'm not sure how a game warden would react.

Here in PA, you have to print it off and sign it. I don't see why anyone would have a problem if FWS says you can do that. It does take several weeks for it to show up in the mail

Game warden numbers are on fwp website. Call one up for your area

Can’t speak for Montana, but I’ve been checked by the federal guys here in Idaho withprinted, signed receipt. No big deal.

I bought one last year on The Colorado website when my post office ran out. the printed stamp is valid until the stamp is mailed to you.

i wish that it was something we could just keep on our phones.. it'd be a lot easier my phone seems to make it more places than my wallet somehow
