Drilling starts to worry wildlife official

Well said...

IPointer...

I would advise you to take some business classes, maybe then you would have a better understanding of many of my posts...

Until then, you probably won't get most of them... Sorry bud...

Pointer, please don't be mislead into thinking that business classes will help you understand the Cheese's posts.

Check out some of the classic "business" concepts the Cheese is spouting off here:
When they are paying going into quadruple fuel prices in so many years, plus every thing else going up

Pay not increasing to meet cost demand (at the moment)

Maybe after expendable income increases...

Most people don't live near or see any of the damages perpetrated, only their own lost spending power

it's about the American economy and their propensity to go along with most any thing as long as it's not in their back yard

That’s the problem playing with double edged swards, when thought isn’t given to the outcome of haphazardly swinging it about; over time, it cuts into things that weren’t intended...

Truly important issues are whitewashed with the sins from 30 years of abuse...

Blame the lawyer’s first, eco terrorists second and 'ologists third for buying into the extremism of the day. ..

I challenge anybody on this thread to explain what any of the Cheese's business comments mean, and, if possible, provide any academic link that would support a single one of the Cheese's comments.

Obviously Jose you have yet to take Advanced Business class 458. Cheese would make more sense if you did!

P.S. There's a full chapter that completely covers the use of double edge "swards" in this class.

I am guessing I have taken far more 400 level business classes than The Cheese has, and, likely than you have, plus 500+ level classes, but, despite all my academic learning, I have never came across the use of "swards" in any business setting.

I think my 458 class had a bunch to do with the threat to Cat from Komatsu in heavy equipment industry and the case study that I had to defend.

"I am guessing" Is that how you made it through all those 500+ level classes Queso?

Did you study the threat of $9.00 fuel to Cat and Komatsu in any of those classes?

   !!!!!OH SHITE!!!!!

I speelled Sword wrong

Sward meaning:

Sward \Sward\, n. [AS. sweard skin, covering; akin to OFries.
swarge, D. zwoord, G. schwarte, Icel. sv["o]r?r skin, sward
of the earth.]
1. Skin; covering. [Obs. or Prov. Eng.] --Halliwell.

2. The grassy surface of land; that part of the soil which is
filled with the roots of grass; turf.

And sword meaning:

Sword
n : a cutting or thrusting weapon with a long blade [syn: blade,
brand, steel]

Changing the tone and content of my post entirely....

HAHAHA!!!
I'm assuming guner caught this grievous error!!!!

If that’s all he has, then :p to him.... :D

Amassing personal wealth still doesn't mean he has much of an understanding about how the economy as a whole works!!! :D

Sorry Cheese, I didn't point out your horrible spelling of "sward". That was BigWhore who was making fun of your ignorance and lack of edjumacation. Nor, did I bother to point out your spelling of "populous" is actually another lame attempt by you to pretend to use your spellchecker but not know that it picked the wrong word for you. You actually wanted "populace".

I am not sure what "collage" you attended that makes you think you can use three syllable words with any degree of accuracy. But, you are likely better served by just posting smiley faces....

miller - I'll post my resume, if Elkchsr will. You don't mind if I remove my SS# first do you?

Elkchsr- I have never taken an 'environmental' class. Although sportsmen have paid large sums of money to help save wildlife, it couldn't possibly have involved two legislators named Pittman or Robertson could it have??? ;)

I’ve been around enough government types to see the brow beating of subordinates for what it is and I’m not buying into the stupidity of it
That does sounds a bit like a fire line or mop up operation. Trying getting involved with the folks that actually do get to make a difference. (HINT: They don't have to were PPE while on the job).

PS- Keep working on that resume...

LOL Pointer... :)

You need to pay attention to what I post a little more... ;)

Then you would know there is a certain mind set that’s being talked about here, not that you "literally" work for the government... :D

Carry on!!! :)

Oh... P.S. My resume is full enough for now, and any thing having to do with working around the environment is an environmental class no matter what you want to say to the contrary... :)

Using this definition, please feel free to explain to be what would not be an environmental class? I took a plant physiology class, which I would not consider an evironmental class, but using your defintion it would be because plants live "around the environment". I've also taken many chemistry classes, which I didn't consider environmental class. Yet, chemistry can affect the environment so it must be an environmental class. Heck, I took a history class and one of the discussions center around Valley Forge, so I guess since those soldiers were "working around the environment" that could have been considered an environmental class...

PS- Just let me know when you want to post resumes. Just think of it as 'cyber coup', a version of the game that you keep trying to get others to play... :D

Already stated the case about the resume's pointer...

If you want to play coup, lets play for real instead of pretend play... ;)

Hmmm...

Yep!!!

You guys got me there...

No resume here... :D

You guys can believe any thing you like (you will any way) :p

LOL Ken... :D

And Matt finally weighs in on this subject with as intelligent and insightful an answer to this topic as his esteemed brother

Good job and well done, and I really mean that from the bottom of my heart

I'm going to take these reply's of yours and put them in a folder to save for ammo against those who believe drilling any old place and destroying the environment is the only way to go, that'll show um'... :D
