Doubt this will impact agencies...

"American taxpayers pay for the salaries of federal government employees, and therefore deserve employees working on their behalf who actually show up to work in our wonderful federal buildings, also paid for by taxpayers," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement. "If they don’t want to work in the office and contribute to making America great again, then they are free to choose a different line of work”

Boom. Lol Demorats are just melting down over this and many other common sense decisions being made.

Huh? What does this have to do with a political party. I know plenty of both that this is currently affecting.

Everyone okay here? - I dig that J. Glad to have you back and involved in at least this discussion. You okay with Elon's efficiency in this thread? :giggle: Well Buzz did start this thread, maybe that is your comfort to comment.

I'm beginning to enjoy Trump.

Action - not yammering. About time! There are some lazy SOB - ROD - What were we speaking about in a different thread? Bloated Government... Now I wish I hadn't edited the thread for sake of /carry on action

One could easily argue that a blanket return to work policy will actually reduce government efficiency in some aspects. I thought increasing government efficiency was Elon’s job now?
I can tell you're not waiting for your retirement to go through for the last 8 months....................

Dont want to come back to office, then you should be fired.
That’s a broad brush. I think history has shown us not everyone needs to work from an office. Not everyone is more efficient, and plenty of money is wasted commuting.

Some folks can’t do their job from home or at the office, and they don’t have competent enough supervisors to remedy the situation.

Offices do have their place. But, if your end goal truly is efficiency, taking one sized fits all approach is foolhardy.

What if your agency hired you with your home as your office and doesn’t actually have office space for you? A closet? Make sure you grab that swingline😂😂😂
Clearly that's not what i cam talking about. These are peeps who sat on there ass, walked their dog, watching movies, took the kids to the park while on the clock because nobody was watching.

My company sent everyone home during covid. Once they came back, surprisingly meetings were more meaningful in person, better collaboration when you are in office and work production went up ( not even close on this one)
