I’m sure everyone saw this. How do you feel about it? They say they are working on bringing the wooly mammoth back too.

Funny, but not for us who have over the past 20+ years watched un-managed predators including wolves drastically change elk and deer hunting in NE Oregon. Contrary to popular belief on some forums, wolves eat elk. In an older study in NE Oregon, it was found that while cougars killed primarily deer, wolves killed primarily elk (over 60% of ungulates killed), and during the winter months killed about the same percentage of adult elk as calves.

If humans hunted something to extinction I could hear the argument, but animals that went extinct for natural reasons are a big NO. Most scientists believe megafauna died off due to climate change (yes it exists), not humans.

Came across this the other day. Really cool video. Explains a theory on how giant ocean dinosaurs went extinct in the ocean/sea that covered the middle of the continent, due to climate change.

Where does it end??? Who is paying for this?? Wow. I’m thinking that we have better things to do than this. Just me though

We already lack habitat for existing species. Yet, this group is wanting to bring back extinct species.

Let’s be real they want an excuse to play god. They are making false claims to generate interest and undoubtedly funding. I hope they go under.

While we're at it, let's bring back Caribou in MT. If it ever gets to reintroduction stage, maybe they can release some Irish Elk simultaneously so these guys have something to munch on. That's how it works, right?

Fun video! Thanks. Breathing in shards of glass and poison sounds fun.

And maybe get woodland caribou back in Washington. NE Oregon used to have a small but growing moose population but I think that tanked as wolf numbers increased.
