and his 2nd...........
I keep telling him I need more brothers like me that will take me to their spots and less brothers like him who just want to be the triggerman

First and only coues. Chihuahua, Mexico with good friend so it was still DIY

I glassed up this buck for dad the next day.
Buddy, Rhen and I killed these 2 bucks on the same day. Wyoming 2009

One of my favorites! This years buck. We are considering this Chells buck. I pulled the trigger but she did the rest. She spotted him, led the stock, and then respotted him and pointed him out. (I was looking at a different deer, a doe) She says "is that the buck", I said no thats a doe, we watch for another couple minutes he walks out more she say " thats the buck I can see his antlers" about that time I seen him. She loves to "hunt" and hike and do the work but is not a trigger person. I think if she could shoot one and have it go down like this one did she would be fine but she has told me if she ever hit and lost one she would never do it again. I respect that and I want her to keep going with me so I do the trigger work. Took us 2 hours to get himaround the hill and through the creek bottom and to the road. She worked her butt off. LIL

2012 Montana and Washington
2012 was my best hunting season by a long shot. It started with archery in Montana, I did not arrow a bull, but was 25 yards from the 6 point my daughters boyfriend took. We were close enough to the house that this girls were able to come help us pack him out. I felt truely blessed that day. The Washington rifle season in October lasted one day and I took the best buck of my 47 years, a 6x4 with a long shot right at last light. One week later a Paridise Valley 4x4 showed up at 25 yards. It was a great year, one I am thankful for, and will never forget.
