What this lacks in antlers, it makes up for in freshness (yesterday) and the fact that my 8 year old girl was with me for it. It was a quick meat hunt. It came running by so it happened pretty quick. When I asked her what she thought, she said, "That happened really fast, Dad!". I am proud of her for being out in 18 degree/20 mph wind weather.

Here is a pic from this weekend here in Nebraska. The one on my right is only a 3x3 with eyeguards, but he is OLD. We passed on him last year.

My partner's brother killed this buck with an encore pistol

He killed this buck just before centerfire season with a crossbow.

..locally. Ron Kennedy, does a good job with shoulder mounts also.

No field pictures, but I scored this buck in 2009 with my 54 caliber Hawken. I even recovered the roundball. The other roundball is from a mule deer doe taken on a B tag in 2011 with a good friend.

After seeing these photos, I think that is the buck that stood guard and tried to take advantage of my first doe of the morning. Great Buck Erik.
