I was looking through old hound dog photos and found this image of LionHeart and Multi, a two year old female out of my LionHeart dog. When LionHeart had her first litter of pups, my second oldest daughter named everyone of them, and the names stuck. Mutli was named for the tri-colors she had: a red dog with a light black saddle and a couple of white toes. hump
LionHeart is the red dog in the foreground and the pup is behind her. LionHeart is probably treeing lions in one of those big trees in the sky, as she went on to her rewards nearly two years ago. Multi was running lions in the Manila area for one of the forest service guides last I knew, and he has told serveral people she's one of the best hounds he's ever owned.
Both of those hounds would lock up solid on a tree, and it was always easy to know they were looking at the game. Darn, I sure miss those two hounds.
Keep'em treed but enjoy them while you have them!
