Daylight Savings time

Where I live changing the clocks makes good sense. If we stayed on DST it wouldn’t get light in the winter until 8 or 8:30. Kids would be waiting for the bus or walking to school in the dark. People would be crabby the first hour or two at work until the sun showed itself. I did 3 dark Fairbanks winters, that was as enough. If we stayed on ST it would start to get light around 4 or 4:30 am in the summer. That would be a waste of daylight that can be used to enjoy the evening

Live west side of time zone and makes no difference to me. Though DST, nice to troll on Lake Michigan 10PM in light. Oh yeah, retired since 2012 so late fishing NBD!
