Cutsom Turret Scope questions

So I'm wanting/needing to get a custom turret rifle scope for my rifle here soon before my wife's oryx and deer hunts this fall. The problem is to be honest my budget is perty tight right now. I've been doing alot of looking and stumbled across the zero tech vengeance rifle scopes. Has anyone used them or know what the glass quality is like or compares to? With my discount on guidefitter I can get what I really want for $530, problem is it's out of stock right now and knowing guidefitter who knows when it will be back in stock.

Right now bout 500. If I wait a couple months it can be more but that's pushing things to be waiting. But @ccc23454 may have fixed my dumbness and save me a bunch of money

Why not just take a paint pen and put a mark on the turret you currently have for each “dial-to” for 200, 300, 400 yards…

Can be had in Amazon for a whole $5.99. It’s still custom.

I use white electrical tape and permanent marker.

$300 SWFA will do what you need

There are even some companies making tape that you can wrap around existing turrets if your scope has tall enough turrets.


I asked to buy an extra set of caps for an S-TAC. Sightron sent them free of charge. Now I intend to drill and tap them for a pair of set screws to use as a zero stop, then I spray paint the dial black, and use different colored paint pens to paint the mark that corresponds to each range.

First I have to get my S-TAC back from a friend to make sure there is a good flat surface for the screws to interface with, and get the proper location to put them at. There’s a chance my zero stop idea wont work. There are other ways to make a zero stop-stop.

I’ve got one on my 6.5 and it’s amazing
