Credit Card Expiration

Does a credit card expiring inbetween application and draw effect anything? I will be getting a new card issued, but worry if drawn there may be a hang up for the payment. Any credit card experts here?

That happened to me one year for CO. I just went on and updated my card info on my account when I got the new card.

It happened to me once in Nevada. They notified me that I had drawn and that my card had expired. They gave me a time limit to update the card or forfeit the tag. Wasn't a big deal.
