Coyote Thread.....post 'em up

Last time you and I went coyote calling it was blowing 40MPH and all we did was tour a log mansion. Still had a good time. I can't quite figure out how that porcupine gave us the slip. By the way did you notice the gopher right behind you? 😆

You call yourself “coyote assassin” and you can see every one of those coyotes was hit by a car.
Do you know how hard it is to get the fur all fluffed up again after it’s been smashed by a pickup tire? I spent a lot of time tuning those coyotes up so they look good. Cut me a little slack, I’m trying as hard as I can. 😂

Put one more on the stretcher this weekend, fur was still in good shape. yes I like to remain incognito...

First pic with me in it was my first South Dakota yote. They are much smaller than the ones we have here in Indiana. You will see the one by the chewed up deer leg...it was eating a deer I had shot the previous evening and due to uncertainty of the hit decided to wait until the next day. I gave her a .45 ACP bullet to the mouth for dessert!

Too cold and hungry to be scared, standing around looking at you in broD daylight.

I think there is a decent percentage of the population here that's black phase. I saw my first one probably ten years ago but have at least 3 different ones on camera this year. They are deffinately pretty cool.
I think alot of the black may be dog. I killed one several years ago with 4 white stockings, and another with a white blaze on his chest.

Freebie this morning. Second one this week that ive shot from my living room window in my pajamas. Also shot a bobcat same situation on christmas morning. Now i just need a lion to come in to eat the coyote carcass and i could have the lazy mans trifecta in one winter.20210305_080150_copy_800x450.jpg
