There's also articles that say Obama is gay and Michelle is a tranny and the kids aren't his. If you look hard enough you can find a news source that will say what you want to hear. What you are deliberately overlooking and bypassing is my question about Obama's response to swine flu compared to Trump's on corona virus.

With all due respect, and I do mean that, this response is simply disingenuous John. If you're not smart enough to vet articles against various other sources, then that's on you.

Look up your own research on what Obama did in response to the H1N1 flu. Trump doesn't want to be Obama and would likely do the opposite anyway, so it really is irrelevant.

The productivity of this discussion is clearly gone.

At least today’s actions were a giant step in the right direction. Government and industry working together. Neither can do it alone. Don’t think this level of coordination between industry and government has occurred since WWII.

Also, Dr. Fauci is the guy to listen to, and he is a constant regardless of who’s in office. Seems like everyone is listening to him now, thankfully.

Of course the WP, like the NYT, clearly views the world from the left side of the aisle, but it still has some great writers and is worthy of reading even if just to stay up to date on "the opponents". No different than the WSJ OpEd page and its right tilt. I suggest folks get 60% of their content from sources they disagree with and 40% from one they agree with - makes for a much more enlightened discussion.

I get my news from a wide variety of sources but Post isn't one of them. Brian William's has more credibility than the Post.

Interesting. Not saying right or wrong, but interesting MN is going the other direction. The Gov and Health lead said the CDC data shows that due to low infection rate in kids and low evidence of kid to adult transfer that keeping schools open is better for social health given the fact that 40% of healthcare workers have school age kids that could be pulled out of the workforce just when we need them the most. It shows how truly tricky this tight rope walk is.

My wife is an RN, and she’s already offering to pimp me out as Daddy Daycare to some of the doctors and nurses with younger, school aged kids that she works with.
