I will pick up a cow tag. But I always do. The more interesting idea is getting the Type 1 tag. 100% draw odds with a huge leftover list. I think the type 1 goes until 11/30 then switches so antlerless to 1/31.

Anyone know who/anything about the prosecutor originally in this case at the county level, the original one that started it all? What's kind of been lost in all this is the sheriff or g&f didn't issue a citation to the four hunters, Iron Bar called the prosecutor who then had the sheriff issue a citation for criminal tress pass. That alone is some shady shit. Obviously they beat it but hopefully that prosecutor gets voted out.

She did not seek re-election and was replaced by Sarah Harkins with a vote. However, she is now listed as a deputy county attorney, so she's still around.

Not sure what Harkins has said publicly on the issue.

So interesting question: Now this has been established, how about the Feds establish the corners of public land to mitigate any legal bs? Be hellavs lot harder to prove trespassing if a Federal land corner is staked out.I wonder if this already exists but removed. That is another question.

Unless there’s a mineral to extract under each corner I don’t think the feds are doing much in the way of hiring and spending at the moment.
