I thought a thread on books you have read and would like to pass on a recommendation would be helpful. So many species have been brought back by hunter-conservationists and many are unaware. In my hunter ed classession in Montana I devote a large chunk to this topic. I'm passionate about it and hope that the young minds I'm teaching catch it as well. One of the books I use is "Montana's Wildlife Legacy." I'f you want to read how we went from almost none to many of the different species in Montana, you need to pick this up. Full of graphics and and easy to read. Worth the $40. If you are near a MTFWP office, they probably have a copy.
