Com'on ranchers, stop giving me reason to no support you.

WSF has advocated for and partnered on dozens of voluntary domestic sheep grazing allotment waivers in multiple states.

That's all I could find with a quick google search. From recollection I know there were a few allotments purchased in in Colorado, I think some also in Montana and Idaho.

Interesting, I wasn't aware of any non-profits that had done this. Out of curiosity, where has the wild sheep foundation bought sheep leases?
I'm guessing the WSF deal was a "seller willing" retirement or something similar. BHR's bestest buddy was trying the baseball-bat highest bidder approach 25 years ago and made some waves but I'm not sure if a non-grazer can outbid a rancher on federal lands at this time... I don't care much for Marvel's tactics, but I admit they make me smile from time to time.

I dont know if anyone else feels this way but my biggest gripe is that so much beef that uses up OUR resources of OUR public lands is exported. - "In 2017, beef and beef variety meat exports amounted to 1.26 million metric tons worth $7.27 billion. The top 10 exported beef cuts represent 85 percent of total U.S. beefexports. The U.S. beef export value equated to $286.38 per head of each steer and heifer processed in 2017."

China is gaining ownership, not just of beef and ranches but other AG crop segments. I dont like it one bit. The population of the world is getting out of control, we should protect our resources while we still have them. I know one out of dozens of ranchers that is a true Steward of the land and he is the only guy I buy beef from. That is not enough, the other ranchers I know dont give a damn about pillaging their own private land down to nothing where a ground squirrel couldnt even survive. Of course economics, taxes, etc play a huge role especially here in CA but they still live in Mansions on the hill with 500K worth of cars and cant get off the lazy boy chair to save their lives. They are living like Kings, until the heart disease takes them at age 65 of course....
