Do you acknowledge that there is a difference between a right and a privilege? Driving is not a constitutionally protected right. The SC has held that constitutional rights can be limited, but generally, it is in very specific, rare and extreme circumstances.

That is an interesting perspective, I have always looked at something like "beauty" being in the eye of the beholder, different people can have a different perspective. Infringement has a definition, and how I understand the circuit court judges findings (having a firearm inside ones home and being charged for not having a FOID card) was unconstitutional and thus an infringement.

My point was the requirement to have a FOID card affected me in zero ways in six years of living there. My guess is you would have felt differently. At the end of the day, I did all the things I wanted to do and never felt oppressed. To each their own. If a person wants to feel oppressed, they will find a way to do so.
